Mesmerised by Monaco

After spending the day at the beach in Nice, we got dressed up and drove into the small country of Monaco. Monaco has about 35,000 citizens, all of which were granted their citizenship by the royals who deemed them rich/famous enough to become a citizen. Most of the citizens don't actually live there and own a holiday mansion and visit the county every so often. Michael Jackson applied twice to become a citizen of Monaco and was denied both times. Monaco was breathtaking. The views of the private yachts on the water and mansions on the hills were nothing like I'd ever seen before.

We had a quick dinner at a nice Italian restaurant before taking some "family photos" and heading to the Monte Carlo Casino. The Casino was spectacular, unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures inside the Casino. There were Ferraris and Lamborghinis out the front and inside everything was gold and the roofs were painted with artwork. I tried my luck on Blackjack and came out a winner with 30 euro extra. We then headed back to Nice for our final nights sleep in France.
