Yesterday we spent the day on George's boat, a Contiki party boat run by a cheeky Greek guy named George. George has had his boat for a long time and definitely knows how to entertain a group of young adults. We cruised over to a place where people could engage in water sports or jump off the boat and have a swim. We opted for the swimming option since we had done water sports the previous day. The water was perfect, so refreshing and clear. George also had some pool toys like that we played with and noodles so that we didn't have to tread water the whole time.
After the water sports, we had a fresh sandwich and hot chips on the boat and then much to everyone's delight, the bar opened. We then cruised to another nice swimming spot and on the way, George got us all dancing to some classic throw back songs and also got everyone from each country we were from to sing our national anthem before playing a classic song from our country. Us Aussies were first up since the majority of the group is Australian. After proudly singing our national anthem we then even more loudly sang to Land Down Under. We then had another swim and cruised back to the shore.
Once back at the hotel we went for our afternoon siesta and then got ready for dinner. After dinner, we held a fake wedding for our tour manager and bus driver as it has been a running joke that there is romance between them. Then the majority of the tour played games at the bar before a group of us went to a cocktail bar called Elite for RnB night. Elite was very fancy and the cocktails were delicious.
After a sleep in today and checking out of our rooms, Abby and I went to the town centre for some shopping. After shopping around for about an hour in the heat we decided that we would go back to the hotel and cool off with a swim.
We are now waiting to get our ferry to Venice which is going to be a very long and tiring journey.
